The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
