The Life Cycle of a Cult tends to be marked by specific steps.

1. The Core Concept

A charismatic leader or leaders present a new and transcendent idea that promises a cure for struggling players.

It’s the opener often seen addressing the media, appearing as a joyful figure formally attired, saying stuff like we’re breaking down traditions. Indeed, the energy, for a significant period, was entirely positive.

3. A New Life

Building period. Cohesion maintained through repetition of key phrases. These ideas are often illogical as a test of “true belief”.

Does anyone else feel? The reaction, the anger, the disappointment post-defeat feels overblown, too much. The performance was poor on the field, as history shows. And this is the real point. It’s all cults. The approach was a phenomenon as the game has its own culture. In fact, the sport in England is closed, a circle, a private event, a restricted environment with a long history of ceremonial past defining it. This has always been where entry is limited. It’s the British pastime of the British, the pioneering brand. And guess what, the nation has its own culture, a system of unknown levels, a place that literally still has a king.
